Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End (2024)

Storyline: Manel, a lawyer and solar panel producer from Spain, and his loving wife, Julia make a visit to his sister Belén and her family near Christmas. They have a debate on the way home, which leads to a vehicle accident in which Julia is killed. One year later, Manel is depressed and lives alone with his cat Lúculo in Galicia. He ignores the spread of the TSJ virus in Europe, which is more dangerous than Covid 19. Mario, Belén’s military spouse, is successfully transferred to the Canary Islands with Belén and their young son Carlos, and they invite Manel to accompany them. However, the Spanish government has closed its borders in an attempt to contain the virus that converts people into aggressive zombies. Belén and Mario encourage Manel to stay at home and avoid government shelters where the risk of illness is higher. Manel’s survival with Lúculo requires him to loot supplies from the closed residence, as he has few supplies.
