Genie, Make a Wish (2025)

Synopsis: Ga Yeong has been under the care of her grandmother her entire life, and her grandmother’s tough-love approach and vigilant eye have significantly mitigated her psychopathic tendencies. Ga Yeong is cold and impassive. The enigmatic spirit Genie is roused from his thousand-year slumber when Ga Yeong unintentionally encounters a mystical lamp. Consequently, he grants the young woman three life-altering wishes. Genie’s mischievous magic shakes up Ga Yeong’s quiet existence as he navigates the unfamiliar realities of the modern world, and the two find themselves in a surprising whirlwind romance in the new millennium.

However, just when it seemed that the situation could not get any more predictable, Ga Yeong discovers that her wish-granting sidekick is actually Iblis, also known as Satan, who is determined to demonstrate the corruptibility of humanity. Ga Yeong’s intractability and tightly controlled routines collide with Genie’s trickster energy and clueless appeal, resulting in a romance that is anything but ordinary.
